Kamla Poddar Group, a leading name in career education, wellness and lifestyle, recently, formally launched the INIFD Academy of Interiors, by recently crowned Femina Miss India World 2014 Koyal Rana, mentored by Bollywood Diva & Celebrity Interior Designer Twinkle Khanna at INIFD Jaipur in the presence of Ms. Kamla Poddar, Centre Director – INIFD Jaipur.
Now, after the successful launch of INIFD Academy of Interiors ,Ms Kamla Poddar (Chairperson, Kamla Poddar Group and President of Pushpa Bitan Jaipur Chapter), along with Ms. Kavita Poddar (President of Pushpa Bitan Friendship Society & Member of WAFA), and 29 ladies of Pushpa Bitan Friendship Society are now heading towards Dublin to witness the 5 days , 11th World Flower Show organised by World Association of Flower Arrangers (WAFA). This event will showcase floral arrangements designed by over 600 floral artists from all the 31 member countries, who all are expected to be inspired and delighted by the spectacular use of a diversity of plant materials from right around the globe. The show will also feature flower arranging demonstrations, lectures, garden visits and an exciting social programme.
This visit will enhance the designing skills of the students of INIFD , both Fashion Design students, as they will learn how to make use of the flower, leaves & other natural things in decorating & making the outfits , as well as for the Interior Design students, as Floral Art is an integral part of the curriculam of INIFD Academy of interior design. They will know how to decorate the surroundings with the help of flower arrangements with fresh flowers leaves and many more.
The experiences gained in the World Flower Show organized by WAFA along with the experiences of Ms. Kavita Poddar (President of Pushpa Bitan Friendship Society & Member of WAFA), collectively, will provide a greater insight to the citizens (students of fasion & interior designing , Ladies, etc.) of Jaipur in the next workshop which will be organized in July’ 2014.

Ms. Kamla Poddar also added that she is participating the World Flower Show to be held in Dublin in June so that in the year 2020, Pushpa Bitan Jaipur along with Ms. Kavita Poddar will act as the host for this Show.
Pushpa Bitan Friendship Society
The Pushpa Bitan Friendship Society actively promotes the art of flower arrangement and floral design through workshops, seminars and flower shows. It conducts classes and organizes demonstrations of various floral art forms. These classes and demonstrations are conducted by renowned experts who share their expertise and special skills with members in India.
Over the years, this non-profit organization has blossomed into a conspicuous, well-loved and respected society, traversing national borders to become renowned globally. Based on its efficiency and creativity PBFS was nominated the member of the prestigious World Association of Flower Arrangers (WAFA). The members of PBFS actively competing in WAFA’s World Flower Shows and other international Flower Shows across the world.
The World Association of Flower Arrangers (WAFA)
WAFA was founded in 1981 by a group of flower arranging societies representing 19 countries. Today the membership has grown to 31 countries. WAFA aims to reinforce the bonds of friendship between the various members and provide a forum whereby members can exchange ideas and trends in flower arranging. The care and conservation of natural resources and the environment are also important considerations. The association is voluntary and not-for-profit and is governed by a properly drafted constitution which is reviewed on an ongoing basis. The member countries, in rotation, host a World Flower Show & International Seminar every three years.
Previous host countries include United Kingdom (twice), Belgium, France, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, Pakistan and the United States of America and have attracted audiences in the thousands. Ireland is the current host country and will be followed by Barbados in July 2014 and then by India.
