Years of studies and practical experience will run down the drain if you are unable to talk to your client confidently about the project. Communication also plays an importnt role in the regional level, where clients prefer a designer who knows the vernacular(local) language. Being in this business you need to communicate and meet people frequently. The practical feasibility of the work matters most.
