INIFD Jaipur organized its Annual Exhibition which was started from 7th May which run till 13th May,2013. It was a seven days exhibition.
The Inauguration ceremony held on 7th May 2013 of INIFD Jaipur’s Annual Exhibition: INFINITY 2013, 2nd day Women Empowerment was shown with Creative Textiles on the occasion of INIFD Jaipur celebrating 15 glorious year. 3rd day, Mini Fashion Show of Lakme Fashion Week Garments held which were designed by INIFD jaipur students. 4th day, Lakme fashion week certificate & Durian Society Interior participation certificate was given to INIFD fashion students whose garments were selected in Lakme fashion week Summer/Resort,2012 & interior design students who taken the part in Durian Society Interior award . 5th day, INIFD Interior students created interior product in 24 hours .7th day closing ceremony held.
Mr. Saurabh Shrivastava (Inspector Of General Police, jaipur), Mr. Biju George Joseph(Additional Police Commissioner) Mr. Rajeev Arora (Charman Amarpali Group), Ms Vaidhai Singh(Principal,Maharaja Swai Mansingh School), Ms Lata Manoj Kumar( SP Traffic Jaipur),Ms Mradual Bhasin(Muskaan: Foundation For Road Safety), Ms Nilima Johri (IAS,RUDA), Ar. Ritu Parihaar (Architect), Mr. Sudhir Singhal (President,Rotary Club Jaipur), Mr. L.C. Jain(Additional Director O/c Commissioner Of Industries Rajasthan), Ms Bela Badhalia (Member FICCI FLO), Dr Roma , Dr Alka Kumar who graced the occasion as Special Guests during the exhibition & They were highly impressed by students innovative & classic work. They appreciated the students & wished them all the best for their future endeavour.
The main theme of this exhibition was ‘Infinity’ –a French word which means design knows no boundaries and that it is beyond our imagination. Art is ruled unequally by the imagination. If we don’t have imagination that means we do not have compassion towards designs. Creation is horizon of our talent where every student can make their blue print in the world of creativity. The magic of colours , shapes, textures, brushes, fabrics can take us in the world of infinity which can go beyond our imagination.
Many visitors came to visit the exhibition on the first day & appreciated the unique ideas of the students. Fashion, Interior, Textile & MBA design management all streams are participating in this exhibition. Students are working with full enthusiasm.
Fashion Design students were creating line of garments & accessories inspired by the ‘Infinity’ which is their main theme. Different sub themes were ‘Tantra-Mantra’, which depicted negative and positive energy. Positive energy and spiritual power was manifested through ‘Mantra’ and ‘Yantra’ and negative energy through Tantra and black magic. In this segment the students created different paintings, Jewellery, dresses and different products to represent their theme. The students created motifs inspired by the theme & depicted it on their products.
Another attraction was ‘Opulent’ which is inspired by the Arabic culture. Students depicted various aspects of Arabic art by curtain draping, lamps, hukka, earthen pots and candles of Arabic culture. Another collection ‘China Art’ also attracted everybody’s attention. These students have used this Chinese art ‘Batik painting innovatively on the walls through various figures and border designs. Batik painting is mainly done on silk fabric but the students has innovatively used it on the walls.
One more attraction was ‘Manieres’ which highlights the beauty of Paris i.e. ‘The Eiffel tower’ among the other famous monuments of the world, depicted beautifully on the walls. Street fashion of Paris was also showcased by different dresses and accessories. Different monuments of Paris were also rendered on the ceiling with 3D effect.
Interior design students have also worked on many the sub themes like ‘Transitions’ the creativity goes for allocating spaces with in the space ,Innovative use of dead spaces under neath the staircases, storehouses inside the furniture pieces were some of highlights shown in modern living. Another attraction was ‘Outdoor In Interiors’ which was inspired by ‘Terrace Garden’ in which students have shown terrace garden on an extended balcony in which use of wooden logs is quiet interesting in flooring and fresh grass carpet, indoor plants, birdbath, water elements and a cozy wooden look seating area for relaxation, a tea poy in bamboo look which is in total symmetry with the wall created in bamboo stencils extended till ceiling. The ceiling of their room is also given a look of sky. Another theme was‘Renaissance’ which revealed the beauty of seventeenth century architecture .Students created wall, carving roof top , carving pillars by using their theme & display various articles like lamps, furniture & jewelry etc . Another attraction was ‘Dhunn’ in which students designed musical room by using many products & VM which was inspired by musical instruments.
Textile design students worked on the theme ‘Game On’ created a shopping area drawing inspiration from casino. They showcased various articles like scarves, stoles in various draping etc for sale.
The technical department CAD, manifested their creation by showcasing various elements of Time , Success & Achievement which was inspired by Time machine like time, opportunity, ego, support, misfortune etc. affecting the overall success of an individual. Success is not single day process It is a time consuming process.
